It's a CLASSIC!

"Lew for the Red, White, and Blue", written by my granddaughter, Natalie, and illustrated by her friend, Anna, is an unforgetable storytelling endeavor, honoring veteran Dr. Lew Harned. At the age of 99, he accomplished over 100 different adventures. A list of those are included in the many extras in this book.

Many veterans have stories to tell for all ages to learn from and enjoy. Talk to them. They are living history books.

Start with this book. It is truly a CLASSIC.

Great work by these two young ladies. They are not professional illistrators or authors, but the care and thoughtfullness of their talents is evident. Everything is done with a purpose and to do the best job they could to honor Lew.

Lew's story is amazing and well summarized. I love that Lew's story has "saved the best" for last! God Bless you all!!

So many positives!

This is a beautiful story that teaches patriotism to young children and introduces them to veterans who have served our country. It also shares a message that you can have adventures at any age. It's also a fun read for Wisconsinites who can relate to some of Lew's experiences visiting places in Wisconsin. I donated my copy to a local Lutheran grade school for their third grade Wisconsin curriculum.
